For: Google Ads conversion tracking setup with Unwired Logic
This article is for customers who would like Unwired Logic to set up Google Cloud and Google Ads Manager on their behalf. Because both accounts are owned by your business — they're tied to your company identity and, on the Ads side, to billing — a few steps can only be done from your own business Google login. This guide explains exactly what you need to do so we can take care of the rest.
This guide is part of setting up Google + Meta Ads Conversion Tracking for your account. Before we can configure and maintain your conversion tracking, we need access to two things:
This guide walks you through two short setups so our team can configure and maintain your conversion tracking:
- Google Cloud project
- Google Ads Manager (MCC) account
Each part takes about 5–10 minutes. You'll only need to do this once. Where we ask you to grant us access, use the Unwired Logic account we'll provide separately, and our verified domain is unwiredlogic.com.
Part 1 — Create your Google Cloud project
1. Create a Google account (skip if your business already has one) Go to accounts.google.com/signup and register using your business email address.
2. Open the Cloud Console Go to console.cloud.google.com, sign in with that account, and accept the terms if it's your first time.
3. Create the project Click the project dropdown at the top of the page → New Project → give it a name (e.g. [Your business name] – Google Ads Tracking) → Create. Wait a few seconds, then select it from the dropdown.
You most likely won't be asked for billing — the setup we need doesn't incur any Google Cloud charges. If you are prompted, you can skip it for now.
4. Grant us access Open the menu (☰) → IAM & Admin → IAM → Grant access.
- Under New principals, Under New principals, enter the email address our support team will provide you (contact us on support@unwiredlogic.com to request the email address you need to input).
- Under Assign roles, choose Owner
- Click Save
Part 2 — Create your Google Ads Manager (MCC) account
1. Open the Manager Account page Go to ads.google.com/home/tools/manager-accounts.
2. Create a new Manager Account Select Create a manager account (also called an MCC — My Client Center).
3. Complete the setup Follow the on-screen instructions to finish creating the account.
4. Add our domain Go to Admin → Access and security → Security tab, and add the domain: unwiredlogic.com
5. Add us as a user Go to the Users tab → add the email address our support team will provide you (contact us on support@unwiredlogic.com to request the email address you need to input). → choose Admin access.
That's everything — once both parts are complete, let us know and we'll take it from there.
