Note:
- If the Transfer function is used before the Transfer date, the old unit rental will be "Occupied" and the new unit rental will be "Reserved" until the Transfer date.
After the Transfer date, the old unit rental will be "Moved-out" and the new unit rental will become "Occupied". - Deposit, Prepayment, Revenue, and Charges of the old unit rental will be transferred to the new unit rental. For example, if the old unit rental has one month's rent as a Deposit and will transfer from a $100 unit to a $150 unit, the new unit rental only will have $100 as a Deposit.
- When using the Transfer function, it is necessary to register a monthly rent. This amount will be the rent that will be automatically added to the next invoice. For example, if moving from a $100 to a $150 unit and want to charge $150 next time, you need to register a monthly rent of $150. The same is true when moving from a $150 room to a $100 room.
- If you want to charge a pro-rated rent, you will need to manually create an invoice for either the old unit rental or the new unit rental.
How to:
- Navigate to the unit rental page and click "" on the right top.
- Fill in the required field.
-
Make sure Deposit, Prepayment, Revenue, Charges will be taken over to the new unit.
-
If you need to charge the pro-rated fee, create a invoice manually.
