How to update unit information in bulk Follow

Here are the steps to update the area in multiple units at once.

1. Export the units as a CSV file.

   1. Log in as a manager to Storeganise
   2. Go to the Units List Page
   3. Narrow down the list of units to the ones you want to update by using filters.
   4. Click on the three dots menu and choose "Export"
   5. Control which data you want to include in the export by selecting or deselecting columns
   6. Make sure to include the Unit ID in the export - This is required to update unit information. 
   7. Click "Export" and wait for the file to be ready
   8. Click "Download" to download the file to your computer
      
      

2. Update the data in the CSV file

   1. Download the import template file here. - "Unit" sheet.
   2. it is necessary to link it to a Site with a Site code and also to link it to a Unit with Unit ID (ex. 63f5ab597bdff700145ed9b2).
   3. Open the CSV file in a program that can handle CSV files (e.g. Numbers on Mac, Excel on Windows)
   4. Delete the rows that are not relevant to the update (e.g. the units on floor 2 in this example)
   5. Update the length and width for the units you want to update
   6. Save/export the file as a CSV file
   7. If want to update "Unit type", please use "typeId".
      
      

3. Import the updated CSV file into Storeganise

   1. Go back to Storeganise, to the Units List page
   2. Click on the three dots menu
   3. Choose "Update Units"
   4. Choose the updated CSV file
   5. Preview the update to make sure it's correct
   6. Click "OK" to update the units in Storeganise

4. Confirm the update in Storeganise

   1. Check the Units List Page to see if the prices and deposits have been updated
   2. Click into each unit to see a log of the update in Storeganise.
