How to update unit details Follow

NOTES:

• Exporting unit details are done on site level. If you want to update unit details of 3 sites, you need to do the exporting 3 times.
• Use this import template to update the unit details. CLICK HERE
• The necessary input for area is only length and width values, plus height if you want to use volume. Storeganise will automatically calculate the area or volume from the values given.
• Make sure and double check that the name and IDs in the import file for the units to be updated matches exactly with what is in the system.

1. Navigate to Site > Units page
2. Click on the three-dot menu icon and choose Export
   
3. Export the current status of units to be updated. The exported file also serves as a backup in case you need to reverse the changes you made. 
   
4. Click Export then Click to download.
   

5. Copy and paste the IDs of the units to be updated from the exported file to the import template file.

   

6. Update the unit details in the import file. If you want to update the area, update the length and width. Save and close the file after update is complete.
   

7. Navigate back to Storeganise, then go to the unit page. Click the three-dot menu and select Update units.
   
8. Click the Update button to upload the file.
   
9. Check the Units Lost pane to see if the unit details have been updated/
